Fun but cant restore purchase ever

Fun and entertaining game but there is a big flaw. I had bought all the characters because my boyfriend and me figured we would play a lot and compete with each other to see who could get a better score. It was even more fun with all the characters, but I would NOT buy, again. I bought this and a month later I got a new iPod. I tried many times to restore my purchase of all the characters and it always says I bought them on another account. I only have one account and it was not on my boyfriends iTunes account either. I emailed the creator of the app and told them about it all and they had told me to try a different account. Theres only 2 possible accounts it could have been on and I know it was purchased on mine but I did try my boyfriends anyways and still couldnt get characters back. Waste of money and it shows that the creator doesnt care about the customers who pay their money for this app but only that they get the money. It was overpriced in my opinion but I knew I would play it a lot so it would have been worth it, if only it actually worked. Would not pay again to have the same thing happen.
